About the Classes

FOUNDATION COURSE - DOG TRAINING FOR BEGINNERS

All dog training ultimately relies on focus work! By ensuring you have good foundation focus work with your dog, your dog will be more engaed with you, and will want to be around you more often. It is then easier to progress and work on other more desired behaviours, such as recall, loose-lead and calm behaviour.

Our Foundation Course is designed for dog training for beginners and completing this course is required before joining any of our other intermediate classes.

If our Intermediate class is booked following Focus Foundation, you will recieve €20 cash back beginning of new course.

Suitable for all dogs, older puppies up to adults.

2 Week Training Course; approx. 30 minute classes once per week.

What do we cover in our classes?

  • Focus Games
  • Disengagement
  • Learn how to read your dogs body language
  • Capturing behaviours

Each topic above provides an introduction and overview of the behaviour. Depending on how quickly the dog and owner pick up the techniques will determine the strength of the behaviour learnt by the end of the course, as each dog and owner learn at different rates.

VENUE - We will be in the Tullamore Town Park, at the end of the main green area by the fountains!

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Due to the unsual circumstances surrounding coronavirus, we are adhearing to social distancing guidelines during our classes. We ask that your dog is handled by ONE person only. Your family is welcome to watch from a distance. Our dog trainers will be using hand sanitizers and may also wear a mask if they need to come and help you handle your dog.
